Las Vegas sells itself as the adult playground of the United States, and for lifestyle couples it is more than a slogan. Beyond the casinos and shows, the Las Vegas Valley has some of the country's longest-running on-premise lifestyle clubs, where consenting adults socialise and play in a private setting. Couples often combine a club night with a weekend of pools, restaurants and entertainment on the Strip.
This page covers only venues whose existence we could verify in reputable sources. Opening hours, entry policies and prices change, so always confirm with the venue directly before you go.
Established lifestyle clubs
- Vegas Red Rooster, in the Whitney area of the valley, south-east of the Strip, is described by Wikipedia as the oldest swingers club in the Las Vegas area. It opened in 1982 in a small space and has grown to about 13,000 square feet. It has hosted after-parties for lifestyle conventions and is a member of the lifestyle trade association NASCA International.
- The Green Door, on East Sahara Avenue, describes itself as a place where consenting adults can explore their fantasies. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported in 2021 that the club covers 18,000 square feet, making it one of the largest of its kind in the world, and that it was reopening after pandemic closures.
Both clubs set their own entry, membership and guest policies, with different rules for couples, single women and single men. Reviews vary widely, and single-male policies strongly affect the atmosphere on a given night, so research the specific night you plan to attend.
Who it suits
- Lifestyle couples who want to visit established clubs as part of a city break.
- Curious couples who want to observe or socialise without pressure; on-premise clubs allow you to simply watch or chat.
- Travellers attending events in Las Vegas who want to meet like-minded people.
Best time to go
Spring (March to May) and autumn (October and November) have the most comfortable weather. Summer temperatures regularly exceed 40°C (104°F). Hotel prices swing wildly with conventions and big events, so compare dates. Clubs are busiest on Friday and Saturday nights.
Getting there and around
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is just a few minutes from the Strip. Rideshare and licensed taxis are the easiest way to reach the clubs, which are off the Strip; do not drive after drinking. Nevada's impaired-driving laws are strict.
Pools and nudity
Public nudity is illegal in Las Vegas. Some Strip resorts have run adults-only "European-style" pools where topless sunbathing is allowed, but which ones exist changes frequently, so check current resort policies. Full nudity is not permitted at resort pools.
Legal notes: no commercial sex
Commercial sex is illegal in Las Vegas and throughout Clark County. Lifestyle clubs are social venues for consenting adults; they do not sell sex, and anyone offering sex for money is not part of the lifestyle. SwingersPlayLive does not list, promote or tolerate commercial sex.
Club etiquette
- Consent is everything. Ask before touching anyone, accept a no immediately and never pressure other guests.
- Respect closed doors and private rooms.
- No phones or cameras in play areas; most clubs require phones to be put away.
- Couples decide together. Agree boundaries before you arrive and check in during the night.
- Practise safer sex and follow the club's hygiene rules.
Safety
Las Vegas nights are long. Pace your drinking, keep your group together, watch your drinks and use licensed transport. Heat is a real risk in summer; hydrate even at night.
