Our mission

The lifestyle works when people can find each other easily, meet safely and trust what they read. That means a few commitments we do not trade away:

• Real members only: no invented profiles, no automated “flirts”, no fake messages.
• Venue facts are never invented, and we publish no ratings or reviews we cannot back up.
• Public pages are safe for work and privacy-preserving: usernames, basic facts and profile texts without explicit words or contact details — never photos, e-mail addresses or exact locations.
• Consent, adults only, and zero tolerance for anything illegal.

Where our members come from

SwingersPlayLive launched in 2026. Many of the profiles here belong to members of the SwingersPlay network of lifestyle websites, which is operated by the same company. They are included in our member counts and listed on public pages like members who joined here, unless they asked us not to list them, we do not know their country or their username is not suitable for public pages. Logged-in members can find them in the member search, except those who live in a country that criminalises sex outside marriage or between people of the same sex: nobody sees their profiles until they claim them. Each of them can claim, hide or delete their profile at any time (“Is this your profile from the SwingersPlay network?” on the profile page, or the link in our e-mails). Messages sent to members who have not yet claimed their profile are delivered to them by e-mail, and they can reply for free.

As new members join in a town, we retire imported profiles from that area, starting with the people who have not visited the network's sites for the longest time. The aim is simple: over time, every profile here should belong to someone who is actively using SwingersPlayLive.

How our numbers work

• Places. We publish pages for every community in the United States recognised by the US Census Bureau and every city worldwide with at least 200,000 inhabitants, grouped by country and US state.
• Members “in” a place are members whose home is that community. Members “nearby” are those whose home is within 25 miles (in the United States, the UK and other countries that use miles) or 25 km (everywhere else). Counts include every listed member; public pages show by username only the members who are listed publicly.
• Clubs. Club counts include only clubs with a current source: OpenStreetMap, the venue itself or a website we found working. Older SwingersPlay network listings that we could not verify are shown separately as older listings and are not counted.
• Privacy by design. A member's location is stored as the centre of their home town, never an exact address, and distances are rounded (“in town”, “~5 mi”).
• Activity labels (“Active this week”, “Active this year”…) are based on the most recent of a member's activity on SwingersPlayLive or their last visit to the network's sites.
• Freshness. Counts are recalculated daily and pages refresh several times a day. Every page shows when its data was last updated.
• What we ask search engines to index. Only pages with information specific to that page — members who live there, or venues located there. Pages without their own data stay available to visitors but are marked noindex and point to the nearest larger page. A member's profile page is offered to search engines only when the member is listed publicly and has a profile text of at least 80 characters that can be shown publicly; other profile pages are noindex.

Sources and licences

• US communities: US Census Bureau geographic data (public domain).
• World cities: GeoNames (CC BY 4.0).
• Clubs: OpenStreetMap, the SwingersPlay network's venue listings and information supplied by venue owners. Each club page shows its sources, a verification label and when it was last verified; older listings we could not verify are marked as such. Owners can claim or correct a listing.
• Naturist places: OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Each place links back to its OpenStreetMap entry so anyone can correct it at the source.
• Destinations and guides: written by our editorial team, with sources listed on each page and a “last reviewed” or “last updated” date. Health information cites public-health bodies such as the CDC, WHO and NHS. Guides are general information, not medical or legal advice.

Developers and partners can use the same public data through our JSON API, with attribution preserved for OpenStreetMap-derived records.

Moderation and safety

• SwingersPlayLive is strictly for adults (18+).
• Every uploaded photo stays hidden until automated checks approve it. Anything that could be illegal — including any doubt about age or consent, commercial sex, violence or hate — is removed automatically, and if our checks cannot run, content stays hidden rather than going live.
• Profiles, messages and venue submissions are screened for solicitation, contact details and abusive content.
• Anyone can report a profile, photo, message or listing. Reports of illegal content go to contact@swingersplaylive.com and are prioritised. See how to report content and our content policy.

How we make money

Searching members and venues is free. A free account lets you see full profiles and reply to anyone who writes to you. Premium membership adds features such as starting conversations; Travel Mode comes with the annual plan or a one-off Travel Pass.Some features, such as starting conversations, come with a membership. Paid featured listings for venues (always clearly labelled) are planned but not on sale yet. Prices and renewal terms are shown before you pay, cancellation takes one click, and longer plans get a reminder before they renew. Details are on our membership page.
